Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address. Your password is stored hashed by our sign-in provider; we never see it.
• Your documents and results: the files you upload, the Markdown, indexes, extractions and answers we produce from them, and the questions and searches you send.
• Keys and connections: API keys and the access tokens of connected apps such as Claude are stored only as hashes. A connected app sends us only the calls it makes on your behalf (a file, a query, a document id), not your conversation.
• Usage records: for each API request, the time, endpoint, result, credits used, a few settings such as the parse method and page count (never document content, file names or questions), the browser or app that sent it, and your IP address shortened to its network (the last part is removed before it is stored).
• Payments: handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store card numbers.
• Website: page views counted by cookieless analytics, and what you write in the demo request form. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To provide the service you ask for (parsing, indexing, search, answers and extraction), to bill credits, to keep accounts secure and fix problems, and to answer you when you contact us. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We use these kinds of providers, each only for its part of the service:

• Cloud hosting, storage and database, in the European Union (Sweden and Ireland).
• Website hosting.
• AI model and text-recognition providers that parse, index and answer, depending on the method and model you choose. Some of them process data outside the European Union, including in the United States.
• Payments, and email for messages we send you.

An account can be set to EU-only processing, which refuses any request that would be processed outside the EU (see Data processing location in the documentation). A list of our providers is available on request.

How long we keep it

Uploaded files (PDF, Word, images)

Deleted 90 days after upload, or as soon as you delete the document.

Parsed Markdown, indexes, extractions and chat history

Kept until you delete them or your account.

Usage records

90 days.

Webhook delivery logs

30 days.

Account details

Until your account is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it or your account, or to stop a use you object to. Email chinmay@infratex.ai and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
